Drug-free hayfever treatment

Drug-free light therapy could ease symptoms of hay fever. Scientists have developed a hand-held gadget that blocks the symptoms of hay fever by using light therapy.

The device emits a red light which reduces the inflammation of the nasal lining that triggers sneezing, runny noses and itchy or irritated eyes.
