Excercise reduces risk of blindness by 70%
Recent research in the British Journal Of Ophthalmology claims that regular exercise reduces the risk of age related macular degeneration (AMD) by 70%. AMD is the largest single cause of blindness in the UK. Eating leafy green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach which contain important nutrients used in the eye (carotenoids) may also help reduce your risk further.
