Solution for sensitive eyes

Allergy or sensitivity to contact lens solutions is a common but often misdiagnosed problem.

Most All-In-One (Multipurpose) solutions contain a chemical called a preservative which not only keep the solution free from contamination in the bottle, but is the active ingredient in cleaning contact lenses.

Traditionally patients who were allergic to All-In-One solutions were required to use a cumbersome hydrogen peroxide solution which contains no preservative.

A new solution on the market called ‘Regard’ combines the best of both worlds. It is preservative free like a hydrogen peroxide solution, but has the convenience of an All-In-One solution not requiring a special case or neutralising step.
