We’re delighted to welcome Angie Martin to our accounts team at Cameron Optometry. Responsible for monitoring and recording all of the business’s financial transactions, our new bookkeeper is a vital part of our expanding team.

Before joining Cameron Optometry Angie held a similar post in another family-run business and prior to that she managed the office administration and also taught classes for Jo Jingles, a company providing children’s music class in Edinburgh. Angie attended Heriot Watt University where she gained a degree in Accountancy and Finance.

Angie commented, “I’m really enjoying working in such an organised office with a lovely and welcoming group of colleagues. I’m proud to work for such a well-established practice and one which has such a strong reputation.”

Married, mum of three grown-up children, Angie is an enthusiastic gardener, although doesn’t claim to have perfected her skills and has had a few disasters along the way! She is also very involved in her local church, teaching Sunday School and singing in the church choir.

Managing director, Ian Cameron concluded, “Angie is a very welcome addition to the administration team here. Her role is especially important as we grow as a practice, continually offering new services and treatments to our growing patient base.”
