We are delighted to welcome that latest member of our team at Cameron Optometry, Lorna Melville. Lorna joins as a receptionist so expect to hear her at the other end of the phone when you call up.
Before joining Cameron Optometry, Lorna was a customer service advisor and she is relishing this new role. “Having read a lot about Cameron Optometry and getting a great feel at my interview, I knew this was a business I would love to be a part of. It’s great to get experience in a new industry, learning about all the the high-tech equipment used in an eye examination, the ins and outs of processing orders, answering telephone calls and dealing with patients.
“I’m already learning so much and have met some lovely people, colleagues and patients alike. It’s relatively small team so it is great to be able to build strong relationships with each of them. They have made me feel very welcome.”
A resident of beautiful North Berwick, Lorna loves relaxing in the seaside town. After years travelling around the globe, she’s enjoying being back in bonnie Scotland, spending time with family and friends, in particular her new nephew.
Lorna is going to be a great asset and her friendly demeanor means she will be a popular member of our award-winning optometry team. It is so important for us to ensure patients have their queries answered efficiently, whether they are re-ordering contact lenses, booking an appointment or for a specific eye-related question. We have a fantastic team who will make every effort to provide the best possible service to our patients.
