Carol’s optical journey began on the memorable date of 8/8/88, and she qualified as a Dispensing Optician in August 2004. She joined our practice in 2014 and brings decades of hands-on dispensing expertise to the team.
Carol is trained in a wide range of specialist areas, including: paediatric dispensing, myopia management and sports eyewear solutions.
She is also a trained first aider, so our patients are in safe hands in every sense.
Carol’s dedication to learning has taken her through countless certificates, modules, and training days over the years. Her calm, knowledgeable approach makes hugely popular among regular patients.
Favourite brands: Theo for their bold, playful shapes; Cutler and Gross for punchy, vibrant styles; and Maui Jim for having the clearest polarised lenses available.
Top tip: Use the 20-20-20 rule, that is every 20 minutes on a screen, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. And don’t forget your sunglasses. UV protection matters, even on cloudy days.
